As a 3^rd generation Dallasite, Venture Assistant Vice President Jason Byrne learned early the value of a strong work ethic as part of a long-standing family legacy in the local and national retail and multi-family real estate community.  Jason specializes in urban retail locations including downtown Dallas, the Design District, Lakewood, Lovers Lane, and Greenville Avenue, with a strong emphasis on the Oak Cliff market.  He also represents commercial property in the in the downtown Fort Worth market.

In 2008, Jason’s work was cited by The Dallas Business Journal when three of his leases were ranked as part of the 25 Largest Leases of the Year in DFW.  In 2009, that same Top 25 list included 11 of Jason’s deals and he was named a Rookie of the Year by The Dallas Business Journal.

Jason is active in the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).  He is on the Board of Directors for the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce and active in its subcommittee for Economic Development and Marketing.  Jason is an active Children’s Medical Center charity supporter.  He is a graduate of The University of Mississippi with a focus on English and Psychology and is currently a CCIM candidate.
